Rules Governing The Awards

  1. All entries must be made by the business themselves, no nominations will be accepted
  2. All entries must be submitted online via Harborough District Business awards website.
  3. The competition is open to all businesses within the Harborough District
  4. A sponsor cannot enter for an award in a category that they are sponsoring.
  5. The comments made on your application form should be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  6. The limit of tickets you may purchase for the ceremony night is 4 tickets to make it fair on all finalists and attendees.  Under exceptional circumstances we can assess individual cases requiring more than 4 tickets.
  7. The Harborough District Awards admin team reserve the right to refuse an application.
  8. Entrants must be available for consultation with the Harborough District Business Awards admin team should the need arise.
  9. By entering the awards you agree to partake in publicity of the awards, including the use of any images taken.
  10. Should a category not receive sufficient entries, it will be withdrawn from the Awards Ceremony.
  11. Entry is completed solely on your application form, judging will be based on your application, website, social media and testimonials
  12. The closing date for all entries is 31st January
  13. We reserve the right to extend the deadline.
  14. All finalists will be required to attend the Awards ceremony evening at their own cost.
  15. All finalists will be informed via email and on the Business Awards website.
  16. The decision of the judges will be accepted and respected.
  17. The cost of tickets are £50 each.
  18. The Harborough District Business Awards ceremony takes place on Friday 14th May 2021 at Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough
  19. Refund policy – 50% of ticket cost will be refunded 30 days before the event, thereafter no refund can be made.
  20. By entering the awards, you authorise us to use personal data collected during the registration process for the purposes of administering the awards, Your data will not be passed to any third party organisation, if you wish to opt out please email info@polkadotevents.co.uk. How the judging process works?

There are 3 independent judges on our panel, all established within their own sectors with great understanding of good customer service, website design, and social media expertise. This gives our judges a good understanding of what we are looking for from the best finalists within the category.

On submitting your entry you may be asked to provide photos and links to your website and social media platforms along with testimonials
